Welcome & Stabilization Program
It is often said that the United States is a nation of immigrant. The Welcome Program is a comprehensive service for the integration of immigrants and refugees in commonwealth of Massachusetts. The program offers one-stop resources to help eliminate systemic barriers that newcomers may have in approaching state services and community resources. Our Settlement program provide newly arrived immigrants with services and items they'll need during their initial months in the community including. Our primary goal is to provide them with the tools and information they need for their integration and to be successful in their new lives. The program is focus on three major issue areas that immigrants face: health and education, work and labor and policy.
Services include but are not limited to:
Housing, food, clothing, furnishings, and other household items
Case-management services, transportation, and interpreters
Connections to social services benefits, banking, employment
Combine health promotion and health education with healthcare services
Coordinate access to health care services such as primary care clinics, dental care, women's health care and specialist care.
Resettlement class and basic orientation to the United States
English language and cultural orientation classes
